CHENNAI: The makers of Jayam Ravi and Nayanthara’s Iraivan have officially announced the film’s release date.” Along with the release date announcement, the team published a new poster. The film is slated to be released on August 25th.
I Ahmed, whose previous features include Manithan and Endrendrum Punnagai, directs Iraivan. But Sudhan Sundaram and G Jayaram, under the brand of Passion Studios, produce the film. Yuvan Shankar Raja created the soundtrack for Iraivan, which stars Jayam Ravi and Nayanthara. Iraivan will be released in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada.
The freshly released poster depicted both leads facing the opposite direction, separated by a dagger. The dagger was splattered with blood and bore an image of Jayam Ravi with ferocious eyes. It should be noted that this is Jayam Ravi and Nayanthara’s second collaboration, following Thani Oruvan, which was directed by Mohan Raja. Jayam Ravi tweeted the graphic with the message, “Iraivan will surprise you with the incredible theatrical experience across 4 languages from August 25th!!!”
“Iraivan will not be a typical film,” director I Ahmed previously told Reporter.in. Many others have said it before, yet this picture does not fall into a cliché. So I have no plans to make other films in the same genre. It has taken on a new dimension.”
