Arun Matheswaran’s much-anticipated explosive action entertainer Captain Miller, starring Dhanush, will be released for Pongal next year. The film, produced by one of Tamil cinema’s most famous production firms, Sathya Jyothi Films, was scheduled to be released on December 15, this year. The film stars Priyanka Arul Mohan as the female lead and is produced by Sendhil Thyagarajan and Arjun Thyagarajan and presented by TG Thyagarajan of Sathya Jyothi Films. Aside from Dhanush, it also has Dr Shivarajkumar and Sundeep Kishen as star actors. On Wednesday, Sathya Jyothi Films announced via its X social media profile, “Our #CAPTAINMILLER is all set for a grand release this PONGAL / SANKRANTI 2024.”Captain Miller from Pongal and Captain Miller from Sankranti Lyca Productions has previously revealed that it has bought the film’s overseas theater distribution rights. The film, which has music by GV Prakash and cinematography by Siddhartha Nuni, has been generating a lot of buzz. Captain Miller, a period film set in the 1930s-40s and edited by Nagooran, will be released concurrently in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi.
